"Cold Carolina River" was recorded for the French Broad and Savannah Rivers and is the only country tune on the record. "Long Haul to Shore" was recorded for the Weather Channel's Coast Guard Series. "Fishing for a Fish" was recorded for a band mate, Hawke Morffi, who left some great songs in this world before his journey to the other side.

It has been repeatedly said that this record sounds best when played from start to finish rather than taking songs out of context. You are more than welcome to purchase only one song, but I think you'll be really happy if you buy the whole record. If you don't like it, or don't listen to it twice, I'll refund your money. I have a shameful confession though; the word "circles" is spelled "cirlces" on the back of the record, which means the 1st 500 people to buy hard copies will receive this dreaded, cursed, evil typo. Get your talisman ready . . .
